Nuestra participación en la MPE Masterclass 2025 «Ayudando a los pacientes a recuperar una vida llena de posibilidades», celebrada del 2 al 4 de mayo en Varsovia, ha sido una excelente oportunidad para compartir y aprender junto a más de 100 representantes de asociaciones de pacientes con mieloma y amiloidosis AL de toda Europa.
Desde AELCLÉS, hemos contribuido activamente al programa con la presentación de un póster sobre el I Encuentro Nacional de Asociaciones AELCLÉS, celebrado en Madrid en noviembre de 2024. Este encuentro marcó un hito en la colaboración entre entidades españolas que trabajan con pacientes de cánceres hematológicos, destacando la necesidad urgente de mejorar la equidad territorial, acelerar el acceso a tratamientos innovadores y reforzar la atención integral, incluyendo el apoyo psicológico.

Nuestra organización estuvo representada por Elena Palma, Representante Internacional de AELCLÉS, y Celia Marín, Responsable de Comunicación y Desarrollo de Proyectos, quienes participaron en sesiones formativas y talleres sobre innovación terapéutica, defensa de pacientes, investigación, acceso a tratamientos, creacionista de evidencia basada en la experiencia de los pacientes, financiación con la industria farmacéutica y comunicación.
La Masterclass de MPE no solo refuerza capacidades, sino también redes. Volvemos de Varsovia con nuevos aprendizajes, inspiración y compromiso para seguir avanzando hacia un sistema sanitario más justo y equitativo para las personas con mieloma y amiloidosis AL en España.
📍 El próximo encuentro será en Lisboa en 2026. Allí estaremos brindando nuestra experiencia, aportando la voz de los pacientes en España y dispuestos a seguir aprendiendo.

AELCLÉS at the MPE Masterclass 2025: International Collaboration on Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis
Our participation in the MPE Masterclass 2025 “Helping patients reclaim a life of possibility», held from 2–4 May in Warsaw, was an excellent opportunity to share and learn alongside more than 100 representatives from myeloma and AL amyloidosis patient organisations across Europe.
AELCLÉS contributed actively to the programme with a poster presentation on the 1st National Meeting of AELCLÉS Associations, held in Madrid in November 2024. This event marked a milestone in the collaboration between Spanish organisations working with haematological cancer patients, highlighting the urgent need to improve territorial equity, accelerate access to innovative treatments, and strengthen comprehensive care, including psychological support.

Our organisation was represented by Elena Palma, AELCLÉS International Representative, and Celia Marín, Head of Communication and Project Development, who took part in training sessions and workshops on clinical innovation, patient advocacy, research, treatment access, patient evidence generation, industry funding and communication.
The MPE Masterclass not only builds skills, but also strengthens connections. We return from Warsaw inspired and committed to continue working toward a more equitable healthcare system for people living with myeloma and AL amyloidosis in Spain.
